All orders placed with CARBONHAUS, agree and accept the Terms & Conditions stated below.

Warranty and Disclaimer

All products sold by CARBONHAUS may not be legal for street use. It is the buyer's responsibility to comply with their local, state and national authorities in regards to the legality of their vehicle.

CARBONHAUS is not responsible for the installation and modification of the product. It is the buyer's responsibility to take best practices and engage with a professional installer if necessary to achieve best possible fitment and results. 

Installation

CARBONHAUS recommends professional installation for all products. The customer understands that some products will require alterations in order for correct fitment such as Trimming , Cutting , Sanding , Fiberglass Work as part of standard installation . Every individual product is different, and all vehicles are different, therefore adjustments will have to be made to cater for this. Certain products will require painting in order to match the aesthetic of the buyer's vehicle. The products will not fit like a OEM factory supplied part as we supply tuner parts.

Defective Products

All products require professional installation. Minor adjustments might be necessary. No two items will be identical, and in particular with carbon fibre products, there will be inevitable imperfections and blemishes as part of the hand-crafted process. These are NOT considered to be defective.

Photographic evidence of potential defects must be documented prior to a returns claim to be made.

Product Dispatch & Shipping

In-stock items are dispatched from the CARBONHAUS warehouse within 2 days of receiving payment. Depending on your location in Australia, estimated shipping time can vary from 2-7 business days for metro areas, to up to 2 weeks or longer for regional areas.

Products on the CARBONHAUS website are either:

  • In Stock
  • Made-to-Order 

If your item is out-of-stock or made-to-order, the following procedure will be followed:

  1. A customer is eligible for a full refund until confirmation that they want the made-to-order item to be put into production. The order will neither be cancelled, or placed into pre-order until the email has been replied to by the customer.
  2. Once the item is put into production, the item’s ETA is 120 Days. During the production period any refund is liable to a 20% Cancellation Fee. The 120 Day period begins once the customer has APPROVED production to commence.
  3. Should the item not be at the warehouse or in transit to your address by the 120th Day, you are eligible for a full refund of the item in question.

We deliver domestically using Auspost & Courier's Please through our agreed partnership rates. Should you believe that the cost of shipping is too high, please contact us prior to making a purchase so we are able to assist in exploring alternative options.

You may be contacted should the shipping rate be unrealistically low, and additional costs may be necessary in order for your shipment to be processed.

Shipping Damage

All orders are carefully packed and sealed to minimise the potential for damage. However, damage may occur despite our efforts, due to variables out of CARBONHAUS's control.

It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the packaging and the product's condition upon receiving them.

Should there be damage to the product, all issues and imperfections must be noted down, in addition to the receipt, the Driver and all details pertaining to delivery.

All packaging materials must be retained, for inspection by appropriate authorities. A signed receipt without any notation or review indemnifies the carrier and CARBONHAUS from damage claims.

All damages must be notified to the carrier and CARBONHAUS within 24 hours of receipt. Should the procedures of notation and receipt be appropriately executed, the carrier will determine how to best proceed. 

 

Returns

As we operate within an extremely specialised market we strongly recommend that you consider your purchase carefully, as a number of our items are custom made to order, shipped in to customer specification and may come with charges to return them.

If for whatever reason you do change your mind and would like to return your order after delivery, we’re happy to refund or exchange your purchase as long as it is unopened and in its original packaging. This option is available for 14 days after delivery. 20% Restock/Cancellation fee applies plus the shipping fee of the product and the booking returned to us.

We will accept stocked items back even if you have opened the goods to inspect them. You are entitled to a refund as long as you return your goods within 7 working days from the day of delivery. The goods must in an ‘as new’ condition and returned in the original, undamaged packaging. The product must not have been used or installed. Whilst the goods are in your possession you must take reasonable care of them and not use them. 

 We cannot refund/cancel your purchase if:

  • You return your product without proof of purchase.
  • The products have been sat in, used, any bolting points have been fixed to a surface or the products are damaged.
  • The goods were a special order and/or made to your specification.
  • The Products were not originally purchased from us.
  • The Products was deemed defective without proof of professional installation
  • A holding deposit was left for a specific product or order

Please note all our items are wrapped up in bubble wrap and shipped out with a hard reinforced cardboard box however sometimes freight damage does occur due to freight Companies. We will not be responsible for any freight damage that occurs during transportation we highly recommend the buyer purchases freight insurance. Please contact us if you wish to purchase freight insurance with your order.

As per the ACCC Refunds & Returns Policy

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item: 

  • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it 
  • is unsafe 
  • is significantly different from the sample or description 
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed. 

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase—e.g. your receipt.

 

Unforeseen Circumstances and Unique Situations
The aftermarket parts industry is unique due to the products on offer and their intended purpose. Products are often large, but light weight. Production requires precision and accuracy in order to replace and/or adhere to the original shape in an acceptable and high quality manner. With such a large catalog of products for all vehicle models and styles/types, there may be abnormalities in regards to scheduling for production completion.

Likewise, there will be situations where the nature of the product you have purchased will require specific instructions and equipment for shipping. This also includes circumstances that are out of our control, such as extreme weather, contractor logistical issues, industrial disputes or customs. At GENIX PERFORMANCE we operate using the most efficient method of delivery to and from our warehouse. Any delays or issues in this area will be communicated with you as necessary.
